Meet Dr. Martinez
Stephen Martinez, DVM, Diplomate, ACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine), is a Board-Certified Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist at VetRad, where he has been part of the team since 2025.
Dr. Stephen Martinez earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He then completed a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, a three-year residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine, and a fellowship—all at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. He then joined MedVet Columbus in Worthington, OH, where he spent 15 years helping to build the Internal Medicine service at one of the busiest veterinary emergency & specialty hospitals in the nation.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Stephen Martinez enjoys exploring Alaska, hiking, photography, and traveling.
